Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 540i 306bhp from 306 bhp and 390 Nm to 330 bhp and 420 Nm – that's +24 bhp (8%) and +30 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch ME9.2 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 306 → 330 bhp equals roughly 228 → 246 kW.
