Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 520D 150bhp from 150 bhp and 340 Nm to 200 bhp and 420 Nm – that's +50 bhp (33%) and +80 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch EDC17 / Bosch EDC16C35 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as Adblue, DPF OFF, DTC Removal, EGR OFF can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 150 → 200 bhp equals roughly 112 → 149 kW.
