Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 525D 163bhp from 163 bhp and 400 Nm to 214 bhp and 480 Nm – that's +51 bhp (31%) and +80 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch EDC16C31 / Bosch EDC16C10 / Bosch EDC16C35 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 163 → 214 bhp equals roughly 122 → 160 kW.
