Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 530i 272bhp from 272 bhp and 320 Nm to 286 bhp and 345 Nm – that's +14 bhp (5%) and +25 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental MSD80 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DPF / EGR solutions can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 272 → 286 bhp equals roughly 203 → 213 kW.
