Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 525D 204bhp (2993cc) from 204 bhp and 450 Nm to 300 bhp and 610 Nm – that's +96 bhp (47%) and +160 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch EDC17CP45 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 204 → 300 bhp equals roughly 152 → 224 kW.
