Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 520D 163bhp from 163 bhp and 380 Nm to 220 bhp and 440 Nm – that's +57 bhp (35%) and +60 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MD1 / Bosch EDC17C50 / Bosch EDC17C41 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 163 → 220 bhp equals roughly 122 → 164 kW.
