The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental MSD81 / Bosch MEV17.4.6 / Siemens/Continental MSD80 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 122 → 135 bhp equals roughly 91 → 101 kW.
