Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Golf 2.5i 170bhp from 170 bhp and 240 Nm to 190 bhp and 267 Nm – that's +20 bhp (12%) and +27 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch ME17.5.6 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 170 → 190 bhp equals roughly 127 → 142 kW.
