Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Golf 1.6 FSI 110bhp from 110 bhp and 155 Nm to 120 bhp and 170 Nm – that's +10 bhp (9%) and +15 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MED7.5.11 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 110 → 120 bhp equals roughly 82 → 89 kW.
