Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Opel Astra 2.0i 16v OPC 160bhp from 160 bhp and 188 Nm to 170 bhp and 203 Nm – that's +10 bhp (6%) and +15 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental SIMTEC 70 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 160 → 170 bhp equals roughly 119 → 127 kW.
