Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Opel Astra 1.8i 16v 125bhp from 125 bhp and 170 Nm to 135 bhp and 195 Nm – that's +10 bhp (8%) and +25 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental SIMTEC 71 / Siemens/Continental SIMTEC 90 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 125 → 135 bhp equals roughly 93 → 101 kW.
