Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 525d 231bhp from 231 bhp and 500 Nm to 270 bhp and 575 Nm – that's +39 bhp (17%) and +75 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MD1CP002 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 231 → 270 bhp equals roughly 172 → 201 kW.
