Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 5 serie 520i 170bhp from 170 bhp and 250 Nm to 220 bhp and 310 Nm – that's +50 bhp (29%) and +60 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MG1CS003 / Bosch MEVD17.2.4 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DTC Removal can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 170 → 220 bhp equals roughly 127 → 164 kW.
