Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Touareg 4.2 V8 TDI 340bhp from 340 bhp and 800 Nm to 400 bhp and 950 Nm – that's +60 bhp (18%) and +150 Nm more. Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 340 → 400 bhp equals roughly 254 → 298 kW.
