Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Touareg 3.6i V6 280bhp from 280 bhp and 360 Nm to 300 bhp and 390 Nm – that's +20 bhp (7%) and +30 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch ME9.1.1 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 280 → 300 bhp equals roughly 209 → 224 kW.
