Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Touareg 4.2i V8 310bhp from 310 bhp and 410 Nm to 325 bhp and 430 Nm – that's +15 bhp (5%) and +20 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch ME7.5.5 / Bosch ME9.1 / Bosch ME7.1.1 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 310 → 325 bhp equals roughly 231 → 242 kW.
