Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Polo 1.6i 16v 105bhp from 105 bhp and 148 Nm to 120 bhp and 170 Nm – that's +15 bhp (14%) and +22 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch ME7.5.20 / Marelli IAW7GV and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 105 → 120 bhp equals roughly 78 → 89 kW.
