Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen Phideon 2.0 TFSI 225bhp from 225 bhp and 350 Nm to 300 bhp and 450 Nm – that's +75 bhp (33%) and +100 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental Simos 18 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
On a turbo petrol, a remap sharpens throttle response and pulls harder through the mid-range. For the best result we recommend running it on super unleaded (97–99 RON). 225 → 300 bhp equals roughly 168 → 224 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
