Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Volkswagen New Beetle 3.2i V6 224bhp from 224 bhp and 320 Nm to 258 bhp and 340 Nm – that's +34 bhp (15%) and +20 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch ME7.1 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 224 → 258 bhp equals roughly 167 → 192 kW.
