With a bespoke remap the Skoda Octavia 1.8 TSI 160bhp gains +50 bhp and +90 Nm, rising from 160 bhp / 250 Nm to 210 bhp / 340 Nm (31% more power). We build each tuning file around the software number of your read on the Bosch MED17.1 / Bosch MED17.5, so nothing generic goes back into the car. Add DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map to the same file if needed.
Who is this remap for?
On a turbo petrol, a remap sharpens throttle response and pulls harder through the mid-range. For the best result we recommend running it on super unleaded (97–99 RON). 160 → 210 bhp equals roughly 119 → 157 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
