Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Seat Altea / XL 1.6i 102bhp from 102 bhp and 148 Nm to 112 bhp and 165 Nm – that's +10 bhp (10%) and +17 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental Simos 7.1 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 102 → 112 bhp equals roughly 76 → 84 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
