Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Pontiac G8 3.6 V6 256bhp from 256 bhp and 336 Nm to 275 bhp and 360 Nm – that's +19 bhp (7%) and +24 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 256 → 275 bhp equals roughly 191 → 205 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
