The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Hitachi MEC100-xxx and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 313 → 335 bhp equals roughly 233 → 250 kW.
