With a bespoke remap the Mini Cooper 1.6i 115bhp gains +10 bhp and +16 Nm, rising from 115 bhp / 149 Nm to 125 bhp / 165 Nm (9% more power). We build each tuning file around the software number of your read on the Siemens/Continental EMS2, so nothing generic goes back into the car. Add DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Vmax to the same file if needed.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 115 → 125 bhp equals roughly 86 → 93 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
