With a bespoke remap the Mini Cooper S 1.6T 175bhp gains +30 bhp and +60 Nm, rising from 175 bhp / 240 Nm to 205 bhp / 300 Nm (17% more power). We build each tuning file around the software number of your read on the Bosch MED17.2 / Bosch MEVD17.2, so nothing generic goes back into the car. Add DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map to the same file if needed.
Who is this remap for?
On a turbo petrol, a remap sharpens throttle response and pulls harder through the mid-range. For the best result we recommend running it on super unleaded (97–99 RON). 175 → 205 bhp equals roughly 130 → 153 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
