Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Mercedes Benz GLE 500e 449bhp from 449 bhp and 650 Nm to 490 bhp and 720 Nm – that's +41 bhp (9%) and +70 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MED17.7.3.1 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DPF / EGR solutions can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 449 → 490 bhp equals roughly 335 → 365 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
