Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Mazda RX-8 1.3 192bhp from 192 bhp and 216 Nm to 207 bhp and 236 Nm – that's +15 bhp (8%) and +20 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Denso N3J1 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 192 → 207 bhp equals roughly 143 → 154 kW.
