Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Mazda MX-5 1.8i 16v 126bhp from 126 bhp and 167 Nm to 136 bhp and 182 Nm – that's +10 bhp (8%) and +15 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Denso SH7058 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 126 → 136 bhp equals roughly 94 → 101 kW.
