Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Kia Optima 2.0 T-GDI 278bhp from 278 bhp and 365 Nm to 300 bhp and 430 Nm – that's +22 bhp (8%) and +65 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental SIM2K-240 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DPF / EGR solutions can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
On a turbo petrol, a remap sharpens throttle response and pulls harder through the mid-range. For the best result we recommend running it on super unleaded (97–99 RON). 278 → 300 bhp equals roughly 207 → 224 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
