Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Hyundai Sonata 1.6 T-GDI 177bhp from 177 bhp and 265 Nm to 220 bhp and 350 Nm – that's +43 bhp (24%) and +85 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental SIM2K-305 / Bosch MEDG17.9.8 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DTC Removal, Launch control, Pop & Bang Crackle map can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
On a turbo petrol, a remap sharpens throttle response and pulls harder through the mid-range. For the best result we recommend running it on super unleaded (97–99 RON). 177 → 220 bhp equals roughly 132 → 164 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
