Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Hyundai Elantra 2.0i 149bhp from 149 bhp and 179 Nm to 166 bhp and 203 Nm – that's +17 bhp (11%) and +24 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental SIM2K-251 TCU and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DTC Removal can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 149 → 166 bhp equals roughly 111 → 124 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality. Remapping in the UK: let your insurer know about the modification. DPF, EGR and AdBlue solutions are supplied for off-road and motorsport use only and are not legal for use on UK roads.
