Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the Chevrolet Malibu 3.1 V6 170bhp from 170 bhp and 258 Nm to 190 bhp and 280 Nm – that's +20 bhp (12%) and +22 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 170 → 190 bhp equals roughly 127 → 142 kW.
