Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW Z4 3.0i 231bhp from 231 bhp and 300 Nm to 246 bhp and 320 Nm – that's +15 bhp (6%) and +20 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Siemens/Continental MS45 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 231 → 246 bhp equals roughly 172 → 183 kW.
