Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW X4 2.0i 184bhp from 184 bhp and 270 Nm to 250 bhp and 440 Nm – that's +66 bhp (36%) and +170 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MEVD17.2.9 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 184 → 250 bhp equals roughly 137 → 186 kW.
