Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW X1 1.8i 150bhp from 150 bhp and 200 Nm to 165 bhp and 220 Nm – that's +15 bhp (10%) and +20 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MEV1746 / Siemens/Continental MSD81 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as DECAT, DTC Removal, FLAPS, Pop & Bang Crackle map can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 150 → 165 bhp equals roughly 112 → 123 kW.
Figures are guide values from our rolling road and comparable vehicles. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, hardware and fuel quality.
