Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 7 serie 740D 245bhp from 245 bhp and 560 Nm to 274 bhp and 630 Nm – that's +29 bhp (12%) and +70 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch DDE4.0 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as Adblue, EGR OFF, FLAPS, Vmax can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 245 → 274 bhp equals roughly 183 → 204 kW.
