Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 4 serie 420D 190bhp from 190 bhp and 400 Nm to 220 bhp and 440 Nm – that's +30 bhp (16%) and +40 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch EDC17C50 / Bosch EDC17C41 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Solutions such as Adblue, DPF OFF, DTC Removal, EGR OFF can go into the same file.
Who is this remap for?
On a diesel, the bigger gain is usually in torque. Expect stronger pulling from low revs, easier overtaking and a more relaxed drive on the motorway. 190 → 220 bhp equals roughly 142 → 164 kW.
