Our Stage 1 tuning file takes the BMW 1 serie 120i 184bhp (1998cc) (B48B20B) from 184 bhp and 290 Nm to 250 bhp and 440 Nm – that's +66 bhp (36%) and +150 Nm more. The remap file is written by a calibrator for your exact software on the Bosch MG1CS003 / Bosch MED17 and returned through the portal, normally within 5–15 minutes. Who is this remap for?
Naturally aspirated petrol engines gain less than turbo engines, but a remap still improves throttle response and smooths out flat spots in the power delivery. 184 → 250 bhp equals roughly 137 → 186 kW.
